On the Reformed People in the Southern Song Dynasty's Military

南宋前期的军队中,有许多来自敌方的归正人。他们为维护自身利益或有感于忠义,在南宋的大力招诱下投效军中,成为归正军。随着南宋军队编制的变化,归正军的隶属关系也多有变化。特别是宋孝宗时期,归正军隶属关系呈现出新特点。退伍后,归正军人的安置同地方财政形成矛盾,其俸禄被侵夺,这同南宋官吏的贪腐和地方财税体制的变化有直接关系。

In the army of the early Southern Song Dynasty, there were a lot of soldiers who were mainly the reformed people from the enemy party. They rejoined the Southern Song Dynasty military due to the vigorous re- cruitment of Southern Song government moved by loyalism or to safeguard their own interests and became a re- formed military force. With the changes in the military establishment of the Southern Song Dynasty, the reformed military affiliations underwent some changes as well. Especially, under the reign of Emperor Song Xiao Zong, re- formed military affiliations demonstrated new traits. After being discharged, reformed soldiers＂ resettlement con- tradicted with local finance. The deprivation of their salaries has a direct relationship with the Southern Song gov- ernors＂ corruption and local financial and taxation system change.
