1990年代以来的宜兰建筑在地实践

The Architecture Locally Practiced in Yilan Since 1990s

从1980年代初期以来,宜兰县政府以清廉、效率与对乡土价值的认同,扮演地方改革的领导角色,大力整顿行政机器的运作,提出整体发展的愿景;在此过程中,宜兰吸引了三支旗帜鲜明的设计团队,长期留在当地,参与地方事务,并似乎发展出与台湾西部城市不同的建筑特色。他们是日本象集团、台大城乡所与黄声远事务所等为代表的三支建筑设计团队;他们的作品贴近在地的真实,打造出具有在地风格的新公共空间,并借此与更宽广的世界建立富有意义的联结。

From 1980s on, Yilan County Government, with incorrupt, efficiency and identity for local culture, played a leading role in administrative reform and visionary mode of development. During the process, three architectural teams were attracted to and stayed in Yilan, participating the local reform and having done some results different from the west Taiwan. They are Team Zoo （from Japan）, Institute of Building and Planning of Taiwan University, and Sheng-yuan Huang＇s architect office. Their works embody the local reality, construct the new public space of local character, and also build a cosmopolitan connection with the outside world.
