Design of Metal-belt Transmission System

金属带传动是在对齿轮传动、胶带传动和链传动综合分析的基础上提出的一种新型传动。本文通过对金属带传动的总体系统分析 ,证明了金属带传动无啮合冲击、低噪声、高精度、高效率 ,并能实现高速、重载的性能 ,是一种较经济的新型传动方式。

Metal belt transmission is a new and high efficient transmitting way put forward based on the principles of gear, belt and chain transmissions. It has all the advantages of the three conventional transmission systems and can be the replacements of them especially when a high precision and strength are needed. The paper proved that the system has the characteristics of non impact of meshing, low noise, high precision and high efficient as well as high speed and heavy load through the systematic analysis of a metal belt transmission system. The paper also analyzed its load and stress. We think that the metal belt transmission is certain to be widely applied in the near future.
