随着改革开放的深入及我国对外依存度的不断提高 ,我国的外汇储备从无到有不断增加。截止 2 0 0 0年一季度已达到 1 568.2亿美元 ,成为居世界第二位的具有高额外汇储备的国家。根据我国目前的经济形势 ,这种储备规模是否恰当 ,哪些因素将制约我国外汇储备规模 ,并且怎样的储备规模才是适度 ,既可以满足经济发展对储备的需求又不至于使我们付出较高的机会成本 ,本文将对上述问题进行一些有益的探讨。

Foreign exchange reserves of China keep on increasing from nothing with the reform and open to the outside world developing in depth.Foreign exchange reserves has reached 1568.2 US dollars by the end of the first quarter of 2000.We are the second coutry who has the heavy foreign exchange reserves in the world.But whether it is sound under the circumstances of our present economy today.What kind of factors will control the scale of foreign exchang reserves,which scale is suitable,to satisfy the needs of our economic development and not to pay a higher opportanity costs.
