Study on Relationship between Supplier and Retailer Based on Transactional Cost

供应商与零售商关系管理为供应链管理的重要环节。介绍了供应链中供应商与零售商存在的关系模式类型,从交易成本理论角度对二者交易过程中的费用进行分析,得出了在竞争和合作关系模式下供应商的最佳努力水平、零售商的协调水平和检查水平。通过比较两种关系模式下利润的大小,指出作为供应链强势方的零售商该如何选择关系模式。

In this paper, we introduced the types of relation between suppliers and retailers in a supply chain and then from the perspective of transactional cost theory analyzed the cost in the transaction between the two. Then we obtained the optimal effort level of the suppliers and the optimal coordination and inspection level of the retailers under the competitive mode and cooperative mode respectively. At the end, by comparing the profits of the two modes, we pointed that the more dominant party of the supply chain, that is, the retailers, should determine which mode to adopt.
