To develop the higher vocational education is the need of economic transition and social development, and the development scale of the higher vocational education expands unceasingly in Guangdong, but there are also many problems. By taking the problems existing in current vocational education in Guangdong as an example, the paper analyzes the deep-seated reasons of the problems of development of higher vocational education, and searches for the methods and countermeasures for the development of higher vocational education under the new situation in Guangdong.
