Comparison of the Economic Thoughts of Ancient Greece and Pre-Qin Period

先秦和古希腊时期都处于雅斯贝尔斯所说的人类文明的轴心时代,无论从发生的时间、达到的规模和繁荣的程度以及其对后世文化发展的影响上来看,二者都具有十分相似之处。但先秦和古希腊文明各自又都是在完全不同的地理环境中发展起来的,这也就必然导致其在经济思想的研究内容和理论观念上又有许多不同。

The pre-Qin period and ancient Greece are all the Axial Age as Jaspers said, and resemble each other closely,regardless of the time of occurrence,scale,level of prosperity,and their influence on the cultural development of later ages. But as the pre-Qin period and the ancient Greek civilization are devel- oped in different geographic environment,there must be a lot of differences reflected in economic thought, research content and theoretical ideas.
