再论王艮的尊儒与杂学

Rethinking on Wang Gen's Ideas on Confucianism Buddhish and Taoism

泰州学派是充满创新精神的学派,也是一个极具启蒙意义的平民哲学学派,但他们仍属儒学一脉。泰州学派的创始人王艮认为,为学当读圣贤书。儒家的经世哲学是他的指导思想,但他不搞儒学独尊,而是主张兼收并蓄,主张杂学。其最为典型的表现就是他尊儒而并不排斥佛道,并肯定了佛道各自具有的效用。这就把尊儒与杂学有机统一起来,为"三教合一"提供了理论支撑。

The Taizhou School is full of spirit of innovation and is a civilian school with the significance of philosophical enlightenment, but it is still a branch of Confucianism. Wang Gen, the founder of the Taizhou School thinks that the Confucian classics should be read, Confucian practical philosophy is his guiding ideology. However, Wang Gen does not take Confucianism as the only orthodoxy, he advocates to be incorporative and absorbing. The most typical example is that he respects Confucianism but does not repel Buddhism and Taoism, and affirms the roles of them. His ideas unite the Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism together and provide theoretical support for the ＂intergration of the three. ＂
