China＇s actual use of foreign direct investment （FDI） in July maintained rthe strong growth momentum seen in June. Data released by the Ministry of Commerce （MOFCOM） on August 23 show that FDI in July, not including that by the banking, securities and insurance sectors, reached US$9.41 billion, a 24.13% surge from a year ago, the highest in 28 months.
