浅谈传统竹材在产品设计中的应用

Utilization of Traditional Bamboo in Product Design

竹制品是我国历史上使用时间较久范围较广的典型民间器物,竹制品的发展伴随着历史文化的发展。在当今慢慢淡化文化符号的现代设计时代,竹制品的传统美和绿色经济逐渐被退出历史的舞台。通过对竹材在产品设计应用分类归纳,强调竹材产品设计立足点应在形式上的遵循自然和在文化符号上的延伸,为竹材料的产品设计提供参考和建议,寻找新的设计方向,开拓竹材利用的空间。

As typical folk wares, bamboo products are widely used in the history. The development of bamboo products is advancing with the development of history and culture. Nevertheless, the cultural symbols are slowly diluted in modem design. In this paper, the application of bamboo in product design was classified. It is highlighted that principally bamboo products design should follow the natural form and embody cultural symbols of bamboo. Some suggestions for bamboo products design were proposed.
