中国"民族区域自治"的制度设计,从"联邦"到"自治",经数十年形成中国特色的社会主义重大制度,其发展轨迹,是在实践检验中"制度自信"的光荣过程。云南边疆民族区域自治在正反两方面经历的经验、认识与实践中的成效,是增强民族区域自治制度"制度自信"的一个典范。

The system design of Chinese ＂regional ethnic autonomy＂ is a glorious process of system confidence. It has evolved from the ＂federal＂ to ＂autonomy＂ and eventually into a major socialist system with Chinese characteristics after decades of devel- opment. The experience in both positive and negative aspects, the understanding and practice in Yunnan border regional ethnic autonomy, as a successful model, have helped to enhance the system confidence.
