The final aim of listening teaching practice focuses on the the progress of students＇ language communicative competence,which is completely in accordance with communicative principles.This paper aims to reveal the the inspiration based on the communicative principles to college English listening teaching at present by analyzing the current listening situation and discussing the reasons for its application to listening teaching.
