An Inquiry into Strategies of English Vocabulary Learning Based on Higher Vocational Students' Learning Characteristics

高职学生在英语学习中由于词汇量小,词汇运用能力有限,他们的整体英语能力发展受到限制。本文通过问卷调查、词汇测试、结合教学过程中对学生的访谈,试图解析高职学生英语词汇学习特点,探讨优化他们的词汇学习策略、提高英语应用能力的途径。

The development of the overall English ability of stu- dents in higher vocational colleges is hindered due to their limited vocabulary and inadequate ability in using words to communi- cate. This article tries to probe into the characteristics of students＇ vocabulary learning strategies through the findings of a questionnaire and vocabulary test, and discuss the ways to optimize their vocabulary learning strategies.
