The Lubanmiao temple belongs to those of medium and small sizes in Beijing, but they are very special ones, pro- fessional temples combining folk religion and handicrafts under the joint management of religious organizations, craftsman u- nion and urban society. In the historical city Beijing, the believers have created numerous exquisite royal architectures and im- perial artworks （including religious objects）, as well as countless daily goods for ordinary people, most of which have been listed as Beijing tangible and intangible cultural heritages. A further study on the Lubanmiao temple will gain a better under- standing of the history of Beijing.
