Discussion About English - Chinese Translation Under Theory of Shift in Perspectives

作者视角包含着作者特定的意图,作者视角的准确传递对忠实传递作者意图有着重要作用。作者视角的改变往往会改变意义构建的方向,从而影响作者意图的准确传达。然而,由于英汉语言的差异,译文不可能完全做到视角忠实于原文。要正确翻译这些文本,译出高质量的作品,就必须根据一定的原则对某些视角进行转换,使译文自然、流畅。

The idea of ＂perspective＂ implies the intention of the author. The correct knowing of author＇ s perspective is very important for understanding author＇ s intention. If this understanding goes wrong,we will misunderstand what author means. However, because of the differences between English and Chinese, we cannot perfectly convey the perspective of the author. Thus,if we want to translate the text correctly and get a highly qualified output ,we should shift certain kind of perspective in order to make the translation more nature and fluent.
