摘要
针对高校传统数据中心因存储网(SAN)与局域网(LAN)并存所导致的管理复杂、能耗高以及空间严重不足等问题,采用FCoE标准和聚合增强型以太网(CEE)对学校数据中心的以太网和存储网进行整合,通过搭建合适的测试环境对传统数据中心网络和CEE的数据传输性能进行比较,验证了CEE的优势。整合后的网络既减少了网络中的设备数量,实现数据中心网络架构的融合,又利用了数据中心的前期投资,为高校数据中心的网络改造提供了可行方案。
In order to solve the problem of the universities’ traditional data center heterogeneous networks including storage network and LAN caused management,high energy consumption,as well as a serious shortage of space,the article is based on the FCoE standard and Convergence Enhanced Ethernet to converge data center LAN and SAN,and builds a test environment to compare the data transmission performance of traditional data center network and Convergence Enhanced Ethernet to validate the advantage of Convergence Enhanced Ethernet.Convergence network not only reduces the number of devices in the network,converges the architecture of data center network,but also protects the upfront investment of data center.It provides a viable solution for the alterations of the university data center network.
