元末士人拯世情怀与经世意识述论

Discussion of Scholars' Feelings of Rescuing the World and Sense of Statecraft in Late Yuan Dynasty

在元末王道失坠、纪纲不振、教化凌夷、吏治腐败、风俗颓废之际,广大士人的卫道精神、拯世情怀骤然升腾,更趋强烈。他们或入仕为宦,拯时济世;或评论时宜,建言献策;或务求实学,引领学风。虽然迫于时势,士人的经世意图屡遭摧抑,极难如愿,但他们的经世努力,无疑彰显了其浓郁而强烈的社会责任感和历史使命感,一定程度上起到了针砭时政、排难解纷、矫正世风的重要历史作用。

In late Yuan Dynasty,Monarch was fatuous and government officials were corrupt, which made everything in disorder. However, the scholars＇ aspiration of rescuing the world intensified. Either they would engage in politics to save the world and give comments, suggestions and ideas or they would be scholars to instruct others and take the lead. Owing to the conditions, although few of their aspirations would be realized,their efforts of statecraft undoubtedly highlight its rich and strong sense of social re- sponsibility and historic mission. To a certain extent, they played an important historical role in commen- ting on current affairs, dealing with the social puzzles and correcting social morals.
