论近代民族资本主义工业发展历程及特点——以20世纪30年代以前长江中下游电业为例

Development Process and Characteristics of Modern National Capitalist Industry——Case study of the Electric Industry in the Middle-lower Yangtze River Area before 1930s

民族资本主义工业化是中国近代经济发展的重要因素。民族资本投资近代公用事业,是近代民族资本主义工业发展的一个重要特征。20世纪30年代以前长江中下游地区的电业情况,则从一个侧面反映了早期民族资本主义工业发展的艰难历程及特点。第一,民族资本主义工业的发展参差不齐,悬殊过大;第二,民族资本主义工业发展缺乏整体规划,没有统筹安排,严重制约和阻碍了经济的发展;第三,电业所存在的问题也同样反映了民族资本主义工业发展存在的问题,即底子薄、基础弱、规模小、技术差、管理不科学。

The national capitalist industrialization is an important factor in modern China＇s economic de- velopment. National capital investment in modern public utilities is a central feature of modern industrial development of national capitalism. The development of electric industry in the middle-lower Yangtze River area before 1930s reflected the difficult course and characteristics of the early development of na- tional capitalist industry from one side. First,the development of national capitalist industry was irregu- lar,and there was a wide gap. Second, there were no overall plans or arrangements in the development of national capitalist industry,which hindered economic development. Third, the existing problems in the e- lectric industry, namely, a weak economic foundation, small scale, poor technology, and unscientific man agement were equally reflected in the national capitalist industry.
