A Study on the Asian Medals of the London Olympic Games

通过对第三十届奥运会亚洲各代表队获奖数据经统计分析,得出金(奖)牌分布有明显的地区差异;各参赛代表队和获奖代表队有显著性差异。数据表明:亚洲地区奖牌总数位居欧洲次席,呈现出极强的攀升能力。在中国代表比前4年的北京奥运会金牌数足足少13枚的情况下,亚洲总奖牌数有所突破;各地区各代表队获得奖牌数存在显著性差异。基于对解决奥运会的可持续发展存在潜在隐患的考虑,应着重对亚洲地区竞技水平地域差异性原因进行分析,进而提升亚洲在整个奥运会的竞技水平。

Through analizing the number of each countryts medals, we can draw that there is significant regional difference among distributions of the medals.There are significant differences between the teams who just took part in the contest and the ones who won medals from all continents.The data indicate that the number of medals in Asian countries is sencond after Europe with strong climbing energy.Although the number of golden medals won by China in London Olympic Games is 13 less than that of golden medals won in Beijing Olympic Games four years ago,the total number of Asian medals breaks throught In order to solve the hidden danger exited in the sustainable development of the Olympic Games, we should pay attention on the analysis of the reasons for difference among regional athletic levels and enhance the Asian competitive level of the Olympic Games.
