美国当代著名文学批评家哈罗德·布鲁姆在《西方正典》里运用诗学影响的焦虑理论,结合弗洛伊德的人格心理分析,对西方文学史上二十六位经典作家及其作品进行了详实的阐述和比较。本文将集中阐述布鲁姆诗学思想在书中的具体体现以及他对经典标准的厘定,在审视布鲁姆的文学审美批评观的同时,反思当下文学研究与文化批评间的冲突与共存。
Harold Bloom,a distinguished contemporary American literary critic, employs his theory of anxiety with psychoanalysis of Freudian theory in his famous work, The Western Canon, in which he makes a detailed and persuasive comparison of 26 famous classical writers and their works.This paper intends to explore upon Bloom's poetic thought and his understanding about canon work while observing critically about his viewpoints about aesthetics and reflecting upon the conflict and coexistence between literary study and cultural criticism.
