摘要
思辨缺席是英语专业学生的典型结症,演讲课程的设置可谓对症下药。以本校英语专业172名学生为调查对象,研究论证了开设英语演讲课程的必要性和可行性。通过对教学目标的设置、教学形式的采用和原则与方针的制定等方面的探讨分析,提出开创出一条可行的新型专业人才培养模式。
This paper,aiming at providing a solution to the lack of creativity———the prevailing problem suffered by most of the English majors,based on the foundation of theory and practice,combined with the real situation of colleges and universities,elaborates and proves the necessity and feasibility of opening courses of public speaking in English.In order to carry it out,the author,through a questionnaire investigation of 172 major students,explores questions like teaching goals,ways of teaching,teaching principles,etc.,and puts forwards that a feasible new talents training mode should be developed.
