Discussed the importance and some characteristics of probability and mathematical statistics. Based on our teaching practices, put forward teaching reform measures such as stimulating study interest, strengthing the training about basic concept and method, cultivating application ability using the computer aided teaching and strengthing communication with students using the Internet. The practice shown that these measures help to improve the students＇ learning motivation and classroom teaching efficiency.
