The article makes a brief ana]yasis on application mode and design features of msln drive system of fi- ninishing mill for 4 100 mm wide and heavy plate production line in Wuyang Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. , fully atfirms the practices and application experiences of Wugang to integrate domestic large rectifier transformer and large synehro motor with ABB medium voltage drive device,which can be used as references for other wide and heavy plate producers on re- vamp, design and type selection of equipment.
