摘要
以英文道歉信为研究对象,通过对企业道歉信和个人道歉信中人称使用的对比分析,探讨人称系统在道歉信中的人际功能意义。由于道歉主体不同,对人称的使用也有所差别。人称的正确、合理使用可以帮助道歉主体表明其身份、态度以及拉近与道歉客体的关系,实现其道歉目的。
This paper examines the interpersonal meaning of person system in apology letters through a comparative analysis of the use of person in apology letters by enterprises and individuals. The difference of the subject who apologizes leads to the difference of the use of person. The proper use of person can facilitate manifesting the subject’s status and attitude, shortening the distance with the object apologized to, and thus the apologizing goal can be reached.
