摘要
探索了综合运用ArcGIS-CorelDraw进行地理国情普查专题地图制作的技术和方法,并进行了地理国情普查专题地图实例的设计与编制。ArcGIS具有较强的空间信息制图表达功能,但是它不能满足地图的编辑出版的要求,而矢量绘图软件CorelDraw具有强大的编辑美化功能,将二者结合能大大地减轻地理国情普查专题地图编制出版的劳动强度,提高制图效率和制图质量,增强地图的信息表达和可读性。
This paper explores the integrated use of ArcGIS, CorelDraw for thematic map production technology and methods of geo- graphic conditions census, and hematic map design and preparation of geographic conditions census. ArcGIS spatial information is of a strong representation function, but it does not meet the requirements of the map editing and publishing, while vector graphics software CorelDraw has powerful editing landscaping features to combine the two conditions, which can greatly reduce the labor intensity to pub- lish the geographic census thematic maps and improve the efficiency of cartography and cartographic quality, and enhance information presentation and readability of the map.
