摘要
介绍和分析元搜索引擎的类型、工作原理、系统结构等,并认为这种搜索引擎技术代表了网络信息检索的发展方向,将成为网络信息的理想查询工具。
Meta-Searcher is a powerful information search tool occurred recently on Web, which is based upon multiple independent search engines(such as Yahoo,Infoseek, AltaVista,etc)and can provide users effective information services with an integrated, consistent interface. In this paper, the work principle of Meta-Searcher is analyzed, then its framework is described and discussed in detail. In the end, some problems related to its further improvement and development are also presented.
