High-yielding seed production techniques for a hybrid rice combination Shenyou 957 as post-tobacco rice were introduced including choosing seed production field, arranging florescence, determining parental sowing time, cultivating parental high-yielding population, increasing outcrossing seed setting rate by taking comprehensive measures, strictly removing miscellaneous plants, timely harvesting, and ensuring the quality of seeds.
