Diffuser is one of the key components of air compressor; it will affect safety operation of air compressor after being seriously corrupted. By discussion of corrosion cause of air compressor diffuser in Danxia Smelter, the paper discusses the repair measure that steel rings with same thickness are internally embedded after removing corrosion part of diffuser, and analyzes the effect on gas emission flow of air compressor after repair. It is proved that application of the repair measure not only can ensure equipment safety and stable operation; it also can save the cost of displacing new diffuser for the enterprise.
