Arrighi has built up a economic analysis of the world system in the research of Marxism of the world system, revealed the basic features of the modern world system, discussed that financial expansion is a mature symbol of the world capitalist system, criticized the imperialism of free trade of capitalist world, probed into the status and development of the China＇s pattern of market economy in the world system, and demonstrated the possibility of diversified development of market economy, in which there are some distinct theoretical characteristics and, of course, some theoreticai defects. Therefore, we need to give a concrete analysis and discussion to the theory.
