文化阐释下的翻译归化与异化问题研究

Study on Translation Domestication and Foreignization from Cultural Interpretation Perspective

归化与异化是英汉翻译中的两种基本策略,在不同的文化视角下,翻译界对这两种翻译方法非常关注。翻译的本质是文化交流,在翻译的过程中,从基于源语文化或译入语文化倚重选取翻译策略是归化还是异化,对于文化的传播有着方向性的影响。文章通过例证阐述异化策略在文化传播中的作用,贴近源语文化的翻译方法可以有效地促进文化传播,在保护边缘文化方面有着积极的推动作用。

Domestication and foreignization are the two basic strategies of translation on which translators have been focusing from different cultural points of view. The essence of translation is cultural communication. To select the trend of basing on the source language culture or the target language culture has a great influence to the direction of the cultural transmission. This paper suggests to select the strategy of foreignization to translate through providing the examples to support its points, and reaches a conclusion that it is efficient to further cul- tural transmission and has a positive effect on protecting the marginal culture.
