Context and Translation Study—Based on Translation Criterion and Strategies

语言的使用离不开语境,以语言为对象的翻译工作自然也离不开语境。作为不同语言间信息交流的手段,翻译与语境有着密切的联系。通过系统地分析基本的翻译标准,包括严复的"信、达、雅"和普遍公认的"忠实与通顺",并且以翻译标准和翻译策略为例,探讨语境与翻译研究的相关问题。

The use of language can be without the context, so is translation that has the language as the tool. Translation, as the means to communication between different languages and crosscultural eommunieation, is closely connected with context. The paper has systematically studied the basic translation criterions, including Yah Fu＇s faithfulness, expressiveness and elegance to the basic standard, faithfulness and smoothness, and studied some relevant issues of context and translation with translation criterion and transition strategies as the example.
