摘要
电影《白蛇传说》在海内外取得的成功与它的英文字幕翻译密不可分。从"归"与"化"并重的翻译策略、字幕翻译的"同义转换"与"近义辨异"策略、俗语成语翻译中的"舍象取意"与"舍意取象"策略等三个方面深入探讨这一电影英文字幕翻译的策略设计和运用,以求从这一成功范本中总结出在全球化背景下中国传统文化现代演绎和对外传播的经验和途径。
Excellent film subtitle translations are indispensable to the success of It＇ s Love, such as paying equal attention on ＂induction＂ and ＂paraphrase＂, ＂synonymous conversion＂ and ＂near righteousness distinguishes between different＂ and ＂take meaning＂ and ＂take image＂ transliation skills. Translation of cultural elements in the film subtitle, its characteristics and the strategies applied are explored in the paper.
