摘要
李建生的长篇小说《红尘》把现实生活中的真实画面多方位立体地以艺术的真实再现给读者,为我们塑造了一组典型人物。他塑造的典型,既具有突出的共性,又有鲜明的个性特征,且能引发读者的理性思考,告诫人们应取怎样的生存态度。同时,作品的心理描写、细节描写都比较细腻,因而有较强的艺术感染力。但从全书看,缺乏一个中心人物,没有一个贯穿始终的故事,整体结构显得有些松散。
In his long novel the Material World, Li Jiansheng artistically represented the true and stereoscopic reality of life to the readers and shaped a group of characters with prominent common features as well as vivid personalities, which would help the readers to think rationally how to take the attitude of life. He exquisitely described the mental activities and caused strong artistic appeals. But in the whole novel, we cannot find a central hero and the structure is somewhat too loosely organized.
