后苏哈托时期,印度尼西亚华人的权益逐渐得到印尼主流社会的承认,华文报刊得到了相对较好的发展。在历经10多年的洗礼与整合后,以《国际日报》为主力的印度尼西亚华文报,热情报道中国的和平发展,在促进中国与印度尼西亚友好关系,大力倡导族际和谐等方面取得了不俗的成绩。

In the Post-Suharto period,the rights and interests of oversea Chinese in Indonesia was recognized by the society mainstream,and Chinese newspapers run well relatively. After 10 years development,International Daily News as the pioneer of Indonesia's Chinese newspaper,reported the peaceful development in China enthusiastically, and achieved very good effects on promoting the friendly relations between China and Indonesia and advocating the inter-ethnic harmony,etc.
