21世纪外国神话学的研究趋向

The Research Trends of Twenty-first Century Foreign Mythology

本文以多位具有一定代表性的欧美和东亚神话学者的研究成果为例,力图对21世纪以来的世界神话学现状做一个管窥式的综述。经过梳理,本文发现:第一、一些传统的研究视角和方法——例如比较神话学——在当下依然保持着旺盛的生命力;第二、涌现出不少反思之作以及新的理论视角和方法;第三、"神话"的边界依然流动不羁,因此在就神话进行学术对话时,必须明了所讨论概念的基本意涵及其所发生的语境;第四、神话与科学之间的关系得到进一步探讨,20世纪视神话与科学为和谐互容的观点得到进一步深化,神话遵从于科学的情形遭到质疑。

The paper attempts to overview the status quo of the world mythology since 21 century,based on the representative Euramerican and East Asian studies of mythology.It discovers that several traditional study angles and methods are still of exuberant vitality;many reflexive studies and new theoretical views and methods have appeared;the boundary of 'myth' is still indistinct,in this way,basic meaning and context of concept have to be clarified during an academic discourse on myth;the relationship between myth and science has been further explored.The point of 20 century that they are tuneful and mutually tolerated has been intensified,on the contrary,the viewpoint that myth conforms to science has been questioned.
