闻一多和朱湘恩怨及其悲剧比较

On the Relations of Wen Yiduo and Zhu Xiang and Comparison of their Life Tragedy

同为清华学子并均曾留学美国的闻一多和朱湘,他们具有共同诗学追求,诗作也彰显共同特征。但因为《死水》和《采莲曲》的排版问题,孤傲的朱湘竟和闻一多决裂并对其诗作酷评。比较他俩的终极归宿,前者投水自尽,后者被国民党暗杀,虽然他们死之悲惨相同,但悲剧蕴含的价值却迥然有异。朱湘为个人生计奔波绝望自尽,虽然是社会对他不容,但这责任,纯属其性格造成。因此朱湘之死,归根到底属个人悲剧,性格悲剧,留给后人反思。然而闻一多却不然,他是诗作诗论与人格凝聚成多维一体的方正和圆满,是用生命蘸着鲜红血液,写就一首中国历史上最华美最璀璨诗篇。闻一多属时代悲剧,英雄悲剧,因此被后人敬仰。

Wen Yiduo and Zhu Xiang, both ever being Tsinghua student and studying in the United States, have a common pursuit in poetry, and their poetry has also common features. But because ＂the typeset- ting problem of stagnant water＂ and ＂Pick-lotus song＂, Zhu Xiang break with Wen Yiduo and wrote scathing criticism of Wen＇s poetry. By Comparison with their ultimate destination, the former drown himself, the latter was assassinated by Kuomintang, although they both died miserably, but the tragedy implication value is differ- ent. Zhu Xiang took his own life for livelihood, although he was not accepted by the society, but his character was responsible. So Zhu Xiang＇ s death, in the final analysis, is personal tragedy, tragedy of character. ButWen Yiduo, as multi-dimensional synthesJ[s of perfection with the poem theory and personality, wrote a most brilliant poem in the history of modem Chinese Literature with life and red blood. Wen Yiduo is the tragedy of the times, and therefore he was still received as tragic hero.
