With the rapid development of network information technology, traditional reading is quietly reduced. This paper accordingly made an investigation on pubic reading situation of Chongqing Yuzhong Library, analyzed the public reading trends and their causes through investigation data for. emphasizing the positive significance of reading, and thereby put forward some suggestions foi＂ improve the reading situation. 2 Refs.
