工科留学生人体解剖学课程的全英语教学研究

Research on teaching anatomy in English for engineering foreign students

人体解剖学是一门医学基础课程,但在许多工科院校中也被选修。如上海理工大学生物医学工程专业留学生需要选修人体解剖学作为专业基础课程。随着经济全球化发展和教育国际化,全英语教学在高校的需求越来越迫切。工科留学生的医学课程教育尚处于初级阶段,全英语教学还有许多需要解决的问题。笔者总结其两年的全英语教学过程,发现了以下问题:语言交流障碍、文化和素质方面障碍、无针对教材、教师工作量和回报的矛盾、教学手段缺乏等。经过对这些问题的分析总结,笔者提出以下解决办法:勤练内功,加强全英语教学能力;改编留学生教材;制定优惠政策,解决付出与回报不匹配。

Anatomy is a basic medicine course in academy related to medicine, which is selected for foreign student majoring in biomedical engineering in University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. The need for teaching cours- es in English has become more and more urgent with the globalization of economy and education. Teaching in English for engineering foreign students is in the initial stage; therefore, many problems need to be resolved. The author con- cludes the two years teaching experience to foreign student, and finds the problems existed in the courses of English teaching, such as language obstacle, culture barriers, no fitful textbook, paying does not match return, and lack of teaching methods, etc. After analyzing the problems, the measures are given, such as practicing English and strengthen- ing the English teaching ability; compiling textbook to foreign students; formulating policy to solve problem of paying does not match return.
