This paper emphatically discussed the importance of preventing thunderstorm and connecting ground in the system of body phone station base sites. It introduced methods of connecting ground and particular measurements in different respects of telecommunication apparatus connected ground, alternative electric connected ground, safeguarded site and prevention of telephone terminal lines from thunderstorm. The paper may provide valuable references for prefecture body phone stations across Shanxi.
