摘要
Changes in China’s surrounding environment originate from the struc-tural contradictions that are deeply engrained in the region. the chief contradiction lies in the rapid change in the balance of power between China, the United States and China’s surrounding countries. China needs to strategically reposition its relations with extra-regional powers and its neighboring countries in order to reduce the resistance to its rise at the tactical level.
