本文简明扼要地提出了对于地质科研教学、生产管理和岩矿制片人员都能适用的"不同功能岩矿薄片的工艺要求和技术指标",并将其薄片种类大体划分归纳为常规片、特殊片和多用片三种类型。
This paper is a brief description of the technological requirements and technical indexes of rock and mineral slices with different functions, aiming to help and guide the geological research, teaching, production management and the processing of the slices; and it divides the slices into three categories as conventional, special and multi-purpose.
