The urban rail traffic engineering is a large-scale engineering project with high investment, long construction cycle and profound social influence, which has many risk factors. These risk factors must be well estimated and controlled, or the engineering cost will be out of control. This article firstly introduces the cost composition and features of urban rail traffic engineering, then analyzes its cost risks, and finally carries out risk assessment of the engineering cost in three aspects such as risk identification, risk analysis and risk evaluation.
