The Last Leaf has its own ＇artistic charm ascribed to the appropriate treatment of point of view. From the angle of cognitive poetics, this paper analyses the text from point of view theory, encompassing narrative, ideological, spatio - temporal and perceptual point of view, to ensure readers＇ understanding of how the author carves figures, tbrwards the plot and reveals the theme by changing the points of view. Point of view interpretation can provide a new research approach for multi - analysis of literature works.
