Statistical analysis shows that cost of green buildings in the area of southern Yangtze River are higher than cost of ordinary buildings. The value engineering analysis can realize green buildings＇ value improvement in the functions of environment, energy and comfort. Implementing green building cost control and the value improvement through the value engineering analysis is very important.
