西北地区城市综合实力动态变化研究——以甘肃省为例

Study on dynamic change of the urban comprehensive strength in northwest China——A case study of Gansu Province

以甘肃省12个地级市为研究对象,选取10年的统计数据,构建城市综合实力评价指标体系,运用主成分分析法,分别计算出不同年份城市综合实力得分;将综合实力得分差值作为新变量进行主成分分析,以此评价各城市综合实力增长能力.结果表明,甘肃省12个地级市10年内的综合实力排名相对稳定;工业城市的综合实力较强;城市综合实力呈现明显的空间差异;城市综合实力增长能力与城市综合实力正相关.

This study focuses on 12 prefecture cities in Gansu Province, building the urban comprehensive strength evaluation index based on 2002 to 2011 statistical data. Principle component analysis was used to calculate the score of the comprehensive strength in different years. Thus, comprehensive strength score differences was taken as a new variable in principal component analysis. The analysis can evaluate each city＇s ascending ability of comprehensive strength. The results show that the comprehensive strength ranking of 12 prefecture cities in Gansu Province is relatively steady; the comprehensive strength of industrial cities is high; the comprehensive strength of city presents obvious space difference; and urban comprehensive strength ascending abilities are positively correlated to urban comprehensive strength.
