Automobile Fault Diagnosis Based on OBD System

随着汽车电子及电子控制技术的发展,汽车出现故障后的诊断难度越来越高。现代汽车电控系统出现故障后,可以利用在ECU内增设的故障自诊断功能和故障运行功能完成车辆初步故障诊断,该系统即车载自诊断系统(OBD)。阐述了OBD车载自诊断系统的发展历程及主要功能,并举例说明了OBD车载自诊断系统在汽车故障诊断中的应用。

With the development of automobile electronics and electronic control technology, it is more and more difficult to diagnose automobile faults. Failure in modern automobile electronic control system can be diagnosed by the self and fault-diagnosing functions in ECU. This system is called on-board diagnosis system （OBD）. This paper describes the development process and main functions of OBD system, and illustrates its application into the fault diagnosis of automohiles.
