本文旨在探讨“五四”时期学衡派的传统文化批评观。一方面 ,学衡派的传统文化批评取向的观点 ,既以反对进化论而同激进派和自由派相对峙 ,又强调变化、发展而超越旧保守主义和复古派的主张。另一方面 ,学衡派的传统文化批评责任的阐述 ,对社会 ,对青年一代 。

The aim of this article is to examine the period of May Fouth “Study and Judge” faction's critical outlook on traditional culture. On one hand, the viewpoint the “Study and Judge” faction's criticism took was to oppose the stances of theory of evolution, the “'Return to Radicalism” faction, and the “Freedom” faction. The “Study and Judge” faction also emphasized change, development, and transcending the positions of old conservative ideologies and the “Return to Antiquity” faction. On the other hand, the explanational the “Study and Judge” faction undertook in its criticism of traditional culture was extremely important for society, of one generation of youth, and especially for the improvement and establishment of culture itself.
