A Review on the Research of the History in Chinese Salt Industry since 20^(th) Century

盐一直是中国古代最稳定、最重要的一种专卖商品,是封建时代国家财政收入的重要来源,而且盐作为一种重要的经济资源,与国家政治、军事、文化等有着密不可分的联系。20世纪以来海内外一大批专家、学者致力于中国盐业史研究,并在这一领域取得了丰硕的研究成果,其研究内容和领域不断扩展,研究方法和手段也在不断改进。对20世纪以来中国盐业史研究作一回顾,有利于进一步深入研究,不断扩展新方向,提出新课题。温州盐业史研究是一处急需开发的处女地。

Salt has been a stable and monopolized goods in ancient China and it was an important source of the revenue for the feudal government. In addition, being an important economic resource, salt had a close link with politics, military and culture of the country. Since the 20^th century, a large number of academics both at home and abroad have dedicated to the study on the history of Chinese salt industry, and have achieved fruitful results with their research content and field expanding and their research methods improving. A review on the history of Chinese salt industry since 20^th century is conducive to the further research, the expansion of the research and the acknowledgement of new subject. The research on the history of Wenzhou salt industry is a new area in urgent need of our study.
