American “Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act” and Its Enlightenment on the Reform of Chiness Banking System

本文对美国《金融服务现代化法》的实施进行了全面、客观的分析和研究 ,并提出 :深刻理解该法所蕴含的新理念 ,无疑会对即将面临加入世贸组织以后金融市场开放的挑战的中国银行业采取积极的应对措施 ,建立以全能银行为基础的现代化金融体系 ,起到重要的启示作用。

This paper analyzes American “Gramm?Leach?Bliley Act” and points out that new ideas in the act can enlighten the Chinese banking on setting up a modern financial system on the basis of the universal banking system to meet challenges from foreign banks after China enters the World Trade Organization.
