摘要
本文从贯穿达芙妮·杜穆里埃生命的三条主线——作家与父亲的关系、她的生理性别所承载的生活自我与被压抑的男性认同("匣子里的男孩")之争、作家的书写自我在作品中的投射——着手解读达芙妮的双性恋性别认同,挖掘出隐匿在爱德华时代社会规范之下女作家通过身体、欲望与作品所呈现的隐性书写。纵观达芙妮·杜穆里埃的一生,她在双性恋认同下的性别表演不断挑战着生物性别和社会规范对女性性别认同的恒定描述,揭示出性别身份的虚幻本质及其被重构的可能性。同时,达芙妮·杜穆里埃的性别与性态认同对深入解读其作品起着至关重要的作用。
The present paper is intended to probe into the bisexual identification of Daphne du Maurier by tracng three important clues to her life,namely,the relationship between Daphne and her father,the conlict between her living self manifested in her biological gender and her repressed male identification(boy-in-the-box),and the writing self as reflected in female characters in her works.Daphne du Maurier's gender performativity in her bisexual identification not only challenges the regulative practice of the biological gender and social norms,but also unravels the phantasmatic nature of gender identity nd the possibility of its being reconstructed.Furthermore,an investigation into Daphne's gender and exuality identification provides an interpretative entry into her works.
